Tried a breakfast joint down the street called The Bad Waitress.
If the serve yourself thing was a little more novel, I would have found it endearing. But it seems like every hipster hangout is heading to this model lately and I'm getting annoyed by it. The decor is okay, the music is okay, the staff is okay. But if the food was great I could have embraced the schtick of the place.
The food was meh. At least, my food was meh. The pancakes did look huge. I'll give it a second shot some day. But I was not impressed. It's one big benefit is being a block and a half from my place.
